Join us for a weekend of service, giving back to the camp you love!

Each Spring and Fall, multi-generational alumni from across Wisconsin come together to help camp get ready for the upcoming season.  From wood splitting to dock building, from painting to program set-up, we rely on an army of volunteers to keep camp looking beautiful and operating great!

2024 Dates.

Spring Work Weekend: May 3-5 (99% of the work is done on Saturday)
Fall Work Weekend: TBD

Lodging and Food.

This is a family oriented volunteer opportunity, we have projects for all ages and skill levels, and lodging is provided for those who need it.  Families and guests are welcome to stay Friday – Sunday in camp cabins, placement is decided by the camp staff.  Camp will host a Saturday Breakfast and Lunch but other food and beverages are the responsibility of the volunteers.

Projects.

We have work projects for all ages and skill levels, but if you have a particular skill that can be helpful to camp please let us know when you sign up for the weekend.  Most commonly we have painting projects, wood splitting, chain sawing, trail maintenance, and program set up jobs (like putting out docks or boats).  Occasionally we have larger more complicated projects and details about those projects are shared with volunteers ahead of time. 

Gear to Bring. 

  • Food, Snacks and Beverages if you are staying over. 
  • Seasonally appropriate clothing.
  • Bedding and Toiletries if you are staying over.
  • Work Gloves, Eye Protection and Ear Protection.
  • Clothes you can get dirty in or get paint on.
  • If part of a more complicated project you may need to bring up some basic carpentry equipment (this will be communicated with you ahead of time)
  • A positive mental attitude!
